Mike Shain began his career with New York Life in June of 2015 in the Colorado General office after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Degree in Economics and Political Science.  He was a Financial Services Professional for two and half years before being Promoted to a Partner in 2018 where he was responsible for building a team of financial professionals. 

Mike and his team won the Partner of the Year award in the Colorado General Office in 2018 and in 2022 he was recognized for finishing in the top 50 Partners in the country. In August of 2023 Mike received the promotion to become the Managing Partner of the Reno General Office.  His commitment to providing a collaborative environment to the elite financial professionals of Reno aligns with the collective vision of developing the premier financial services organization in Northern Nevada.
