Dave is a Reno native.  He attended the University of Nevada where he earned a Bachelor of Education degree in Physical Education and a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology.  Dave started his career with New York Life in 2012 as an agent in the Reno General Office after a 20 plus year career as a national level year-round competitive club swim coach. Dave won New Org Agent of the Year in his first full year with the company.  He spent seven years in the field as an agent.  Along the way, he earned the Centurian Award, numerous Life All-Star awards, Annuity Elite, and was an Executive Council agent. 

Dave made the transition into Management in May of 2019, starting off as an Associate Partner and then achieving full Partner status in November 2019.  Dave made the move to Development Manager in January 2022 and has been in that role ever since.  Dave earned his CLU designation in 2024.

Dave has been married to his wife Lori for 29 years.  They have two sons, Jordan, and Josh.  They make their home in Northwest Reno.  Dave continues to coach high school swimming at Reno High School.  He likes to swim with his Masters team, listen to music, play drums, target shoot, and is an avid fisherman.
